HP und Research In Motion schließen strategische Allianz

Im Rahmen einer strategischen Allianz werden HP und Research In Motion (RIM) gemeinsame Services und Software für die BlackBerry-Plattform entwickeln. Mit den neuen Lösungen für BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 können Unternehmen die Produktivität ihrer mobilen Mitarbeiter erhöhen.

Geplant sind folgende Software- und Services-Angebote:

- HP CloudPrint für BlackBerry Smartphones: ein Webservice, der BlackBerry-Anwendern das Ausdrucken von E-Mails, Dokumenten, Photos und Webseiten ermöglicht - im Büro, zu Hause und unterwegs.

- HP Operations Manager für BlackBerry Enterprise Server: eine Software zur zentralen Überwachung und Verwaltung der erweiterten BlackBerry-Umgebung, sowohl der virtuellen als auch der physischen.

- Managed BlackBerry Services: gehören zu den EDS Mobile Workplace Services und ermöglichen Unternehmen, das Management ihrer BlackBerry-Umgebungen auszulagern.
