In Gartner's Magic Quadrant für das Marktsegment "Hochverfügbarkeits-Services von Server-Herstellern" nimmt HP unter den "Leaders" die Spitzenposition ein. Zu den entscheidenden Kriterien für die Einstufung als führender Hersteller machte Gartner den strategischen Fokus, die Investitionen in Hochverfügbarkeits-Services sowie die Qualität der angebotenen Dienstleistungen. Neben einer Untersuchung der verschiedenen Anbieter floss auch das Feedback von Anwendern in die Analyse mit ein.

Gartner bezeichnet solche Unternehmen als führend, die bereits heute leistungsstarke Lösungen anbieten und eine klare Vision für den jeweiligen Markt haben.
