Filmreife Speicherlösung: Warner Bros. Entertainment migriert auf HP Media Storage

Warner Bros. Entertainment, eine der weltweit größten Film- und Fernsehgesellschaften, setzt bei der digitalen Filmbearbeitung auf eine spezialisierte Speicherlösung: HP Media Storage. Damit kann das Unternehmen den kompletten digitalen Nachproduktionsprozess, wie beispielsweise Farbkorrekturen oder das so genannte Mastering, effizienter gestalten. Die Videodaten liegen dabei im 4K Digital-Format vor, dem am höchsten auflösenden Standard für digitale Filmdateien.

Die implementierte Lösung besteht aus HP Enterprise Virtual Arrays (EVA) 8000 sowie Linux-basierten HP ProLiant Servern. Zudem kommen Blade-Server und Workstations von HP zum Einsatz.
