Hohe Kompatibilität garantiert: Der neue HP DVD Writer dvd530i beschreibt Double-Layer-DVDs, die von den meisten DVD-Playern und DVD-ROM-Laufwerken in sehr guter Qualität gelesen werden können, wie sich bei umfangreichen Tests in den HP Labs zeigte. Der Anwender kann auf einer einzigen DVD bis zu 8,5 GByte Videos, Fotos, Musikdateien oder Daten archivieren. Auf Single-Layer-DVDs speichert der dvd530i bis zu 4,7 GByte in ± Dual-Format. Double-Layer-DVDs werden mit bis zu 2,4facher, Single-Layer-DVD±R-Disk mit bis zu 8facher und ±RW-Disk mit bis zu 4facher Geschwindigkeit beschrieben und mit 12facher Geschwindigkeit gelesen. CDs beschreibt der dvd530i mit bis zu 40facher Geschwindigkeit - damit ist er schneller als bisherige Laufwerke. Der HP DVD Writer dvd530i ist ab sofort zum Preis von 129 Euro (unverbindliche Preisempfehlung, inklusive Mehrwertsteuer) im Handel erhältlich.

Für die kreative Bearbeitung der DVDs und CDs steht dem Anwender ein im Lieferumfang enthaltenes Software-Paket zur Verfügung: Mit ArcSoft ShowBiz lassen sich DVD-Videos erstellen und bearbeiten oder Foto- und Video-SlideShows gestalten. Sonic RecordNow unterstützt den Anwender beim Speichern von Daten, Fotos, Videos oder Musikdateien auf DVD und CD. Cyberlink
PowerDVD ermöglicht das Abspielen von DVD-Filmen über den PC.

Garantie

HP bietet für den HP DVD Writer dvd530i eine Gewährleistung von einem Jahr. Die Garantie ist über die optionalen HP Care Packs erweiterbar.
