Ein RFID-Reader mit Antenne ist Standard für Loadports. Doch wenn die Fab seit Jahrzehnten ohne RFID läuft und automatisiert werden soll, wird eine vollständige Installation schnell teuer.

Der HERMOS LFM 4x Reader bietet eine effiziente Lösung: Ein LF-Midrange Schreib-/Lesegerät bei 134,2 kHz (ISO 18000-2), das stabile Identifikation auch unter schwierigen Bedingungen gewährleistet. Mit vier Antennenports können mehrere Identifikationspunkte gleichzeitig genutzt werden. Jede Antenne verfügt über automatische Abstimmung. Optional lassen sich z. B. Lichttaster über digitale I/Os anschließen, die Lesungen automatisch auslösen.

Integration über Ethernet oder RS232, unterstützt SECS/HSMS und ASCII, optional PoE zur Reduzierung von Verkabelung. Weitere Funktionen: Polling-Modus pro Antenne, automatische Lesefunktion, Antennenbruch-Erkennung, Testmodus mit LED-Anzeige.
