(PresseBox) (Oelde-Germany, )
After having celebrated the 125-year jubilee of the Haver & Boecker Wire Weaving Division with a ceremony, open day and an employee party, the Machinery Division joined in with the latest HAVER TECHNOLOGY DAYS during the first three days of the last week of August.

The invitation to the A2 Forum in Rheda-Wiedenbrück was taken up by 350 customers, representatives, and employees from subsidiary companies. The objective of the event was to inform the guests about the organisational and technical developments coming from the Germany-based family-owned company, get a feel for the latest international trends, and to bundle the activities within the HAVER Group. The main goal was to emphasise that HAVER & BOECKER wishes to be involved in the development of processes at the early stages of a partnership in order to find solutions together.

For the first day of the conference, the so-called Strategy Day, Managing Director and Partner Dr Reinhold Festge was able to line up renowned speakers. Dr Martin Wansleben, Main Managing Director of the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce spoke on globalisation as a challenge for mid-size companies. Prof Dr Unland, Saxony Minister of Finance and Professor at the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg, spoke about the shortage of raw materials and how to curb it. The highlight of the day was African entrepreneur and the richest man in Africa Dr Aliko Dangote, who travelled in to Rheda from his home country of Nigeria in order to introduce the stellar development of his company and additional ideas and dreams for the African cement market.

In addition to first-hand information, there was also an exhibition in Plant 6 of HAVER & BOECKER in Oelde. Here the visitors could gather information about the individual links of the entire process chain in the cement, building materials and chemicals industry. The absolute highlight was the demonstration of a new HAVER & BOECKER product: the high-speed Haver SpeedFlexx truck direct loader. Together with the takeover of Newtec Bag Palletizing company, the automatic loading system rounds out the HAVER & BOECKER product line in the sector of packing and shipping systems because it combines the conventional palletizing technology and stocking.

The second day, the so-called technology day, was about technical trends and developments of HAVER & BOECKER. Employees of the business units cement, chemicals and building materials and minerals presented specialised technical presentations. Furthermore HAVER & BOECKER's Innovation Manager Dr Stephan Hüwel made a look into the company's technical future.

The third day, the so-called communications day, was for the employees of the HAVER Group. Main themes have been the worldwide network and the bundling of activities.
