Die Krefelder Firma GRUPPEMEDIA, Spezialist für Storage- und Datenmanagementsysteme, erweitert das Speichersystem
Titan DataCenter um weitere Funktionen.

Das Speichersystem Titan DataCenter FC bietet hochperformantes Backup-to-Disk von bis zu 400 MB/s über 2x 2 Gbit
FibreChannel-Hostkanäle. Bis zu 16 SerialATA-Festplatten finden in dem Gehäuse Platz. Die Speicherkapazität reicht somit bis zu 6,4 TByte.
Alle wichtigen Komponenten wie Lüfter und Netzteile sind redundant ausgelegt. Der integrierte 64 Bit High Performance Raidcontroller
unterstützt die Raidlevel 0, 1, 3, 5, 10, 30 und 50.
Die mitgelieferte Software Suite MediaManager DataCenter bietet neben Backup-to-Disk zusätzliche Funktionen wie Synchronisation,
Archive-to-Disk (A2D) und Sync-to-Disk-Backup-to-Tape (S2DB2T).
Titan-Speichersysteme eignen sich somit besonders zur Kapazitätssteigerung von Fileservern, Anlegen von Onlinearchiven
sowie der Optimierung und Beschleunigung von Backupstrategien.

Die Titan-Speichersysteme sind für die Betriebssysteme Windows NT/2000/2003, Linux, Solaris und Mac OSX ab sofort zu einem
empf. Verkaufspreis von 4.999,00 Euro erhältlich (1,28 TB Kapazität).
