The SGAM ETF Private Equity LPX 50 (ISIN FR0010413518) allows investors to participate for the first time in the performance of the LPX 50 index. The LPX 50 index tracks the performance of the 50 largest and most liquid private equity companies in the world. It represents approximately 70 percent of the overall market for exchange-traded private equity companies.
Listings have also been afforded to two active ETFs, which allow investors to speculate on the inverse performance of the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50 index.
The SGAM ETF Bear DJ EURO STOXX 50 (ISIN FR0010424135) offers variable exposure to the euro-zone equity market that is diametrically opposed to the performance of the DJ EURO STOXX 50. The SGAM ETF XBear DJ EURO STOXX 50 (ISIN FR0010424143)
also offers variable exposure to the inverse performance of the DJ EURO STOXX 50 but with an additional maximum two-fold leverage effect. The issuer specifies the variable investment rate every calendar quarter, taking into account the expected performance and volatility of the DJ EURO STOXX 50 index for the coming calendar quarter.
Active ETFs are not limited to simply tracking their reference index, but rather follow an active investment strategy. The strategy focuses on exceeding the performance of a reference index or tracking it with a variable investment rate.
