Zunächst umfasst der Energy Facts Datenservice die Länder Deutschland, Frankreich, Belgien und die Niederlande. Im Laufe dieses Jahres sollen darüber hinaus die Länder Italien, Spanien, Österreich und die Schweiz einbezogen werden.
Das Energy Facts Datenprodukt wird aus vielen Quellen gespeist: aus öffentlich verfügbaren Daten, proprietären Daten von Informationsanbietern und modellierten Daten der Deutschen Börse.
Die Inhalte können über ein spezielles Webterminal oder als XML-Webdatenservice bezogen werden. Alle Reports werden auf dem Webterminal als Grafik und Tabelle angezeigt. Sie können leicht in Excel exportiert und somit in anderen Anwendungen weiterverarbeitet werden. Noch im Laufe dieses Jahres wird die Deutsche Börse Energy Facts über ihren CEF® Datenfeed an etablierte Datenprovider zur Verteilung liefern.
