Originally, Kootenay CEO James McDonald only wanted to raise CAD 12 million for the 2025 drilling season, but the demand from investors was so strong that the financing "had to" be increased first to CAD 17.4 million and then to CAD 20 million!
In any case, the coffers are now bursting with fresh capital – and Kootenay intends to use the funds as early as the end of this month (!) to carry out a multi-stage drilling program with a planned scope of 50,000 meters on the Columba silver project! By way of comparison, a total of 53,000 meters of drilling was carried out on the project between 2019 and 2025...
