Soft plant material – such as young shoots, fresh wood, or sensitive plants – requires a blade that cuts cleanly and minimizes material damage. That is why most users rely on bypass pruners. The GardenPRO anvil pruners from Original LÖWE were developed specifically to meet these requirements as well. Their optimized blade geometry, precise grind, and a corrosion-protective surface treatment support a controlled cut without injury to the plant.
With hybrid anvil pruners with bypass geometry, the material being cut sits close to the pivot point by design. This enables precise cuts, including on sensitive plant tissue. Depending on the model, the maximum cutting diameter in the GardenPRO program is up to 30 mm (loppers: 45 mm).
In everyday work, that means gentle handling, vital plants, and an even cut surface – even with frequent shaping or rejuvenation pruning. The pruners sit comfortably in the hand, offer controlled power transfer, and remain safely guided even during longer use. In addition, in the GardenPRO PROFESSIONAL series, the handle width can be adjusted continuously to hand size and the specific cutting task.
For a long service life, all relevant wear parts can be replaced. Spare parts are available so the garden pruners remain reliable over many seasons – a contribution to sustainable gardening practice and conserving resources. In the PROFESSIONAL series, the blades are mounted on the outside with just one nut. This allows the blade to be changed within seconds without having to dismantle the pruners completely. All wear parts, such as blades, counterblades, and springs, are available as replacements. A clearly structured spare-parts list transparently shows all available components.
“When it comes to soft plant material, cut quality comes first. A blade with the right geometry, a clean grind, and a suitable coating avoids damage to the wood,” says Jürgen Usinger, Product Manager at Original LÖWE.
Independent practical tests confirm the quality of Original LÖWE garden pruners: the german NDR consumer magazine “MARKT” named the Original LÖWE 11 the test winner in a garden pruner comparison. In addition, GartenFlora rated the pruners Original LÖWE 14 with “VERY GOOD 1.3” in his issue.
For 2026, Original LÖWE once again confirms the use of 100% green electricity from European renewable energy sources. This decision aligns with EU Directive 2018/2001 and contributes to a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions.
Gebr. Schröder GmbH will present Original LÖWE from January 27 to 30, 2026, at IPM ESSEN together with “Krumpholz – tool manufacturing since 1799” at a cooperation booth. Visitors, retailers, and interested parties will have the opportunity to test Original LÖWE garden pruners extensively on site.
All booth visitors will receive personal advice with individual recommendations for cutting tasks, hand size, or frequency of use – from the grip to the precise cut.
