Gartner rät IT-Verantwortlichen zu zwei IT-Budgets für 2008

Chief Information Officers (CIOs) sollten zwei IT-Budgets für 2008 anlegen, rät das IT-Marktforschungs- und Beratungsunternehmen Gartner. Im Rahmen des Gartner Symposiums/ITxpo in Cannes, Frankreich, warnen Analysten, dass aufgrund der kürzlichen weltweiten Unruhen auf den Finanz- und Kreditmärkten sowie der anhaltenden Ungewissheit des zukünftigen wirtschaftlichen Klimas, Unternehmen einen Plan für alle Eventualitäten benötigen.

Gartner rät CIOs, zwei separate Budgets anzulegen: Das erste sollte den aktuellen Vorgaben der Geschäftsleitung entsprechen. Zusätzlich sollte dieses Budget durch ein zweites Backup-Budget ergänzt werden, das als Reaktion auf eine eventuelle Rezession eingesetzt werden kann.
