As in previous years, the SKZ is once again awarding the “Premium Partner Research” award retroactively for 2024 to companies that drive projects forward together with the research institute. "Companies are selected as premium partners if they tackle problems and issues together with us and solve them with an innovative approach. Together with Nano Dimension, the EZD has succeeded in developing a new type of material and thus taking additive manufacturing in this area to a new level. Ultimately, together we are taking the plastics industry a decisive step forward," reports Matthias Ruff, Head of Sales Education & Research at SKZ in Würzburg.
As part of the collaboration between the European Center for Dispersion Technologies EZD and Nano Dimension, a groundbreaking UV-curing material for additive manufacturing has been developed: ATARU.
The joint project has been running for several years. Nano Dimension introduced the idea and EZD supported the project from the very beginning. EZD scientists supported the entire process, from material research, testing and analysis to the incorporation of additives, contributing their extensive expertise. Regular exchange was always at the forefront.
