The new Internet platform Fronius SolarWeb providing state-of-the-art, easy PV system monitoring

Fronius will be introducing the Fronius SolarWeb for the first time as this year's Intersolar in Freiburg. It is a new Internet platform for monitoring and analyzing PV systems. This redesigned, free web platform was developed in-house by Fronius.

"Easy to operate, user-friendly and comprehensive analysis options were top of the list during the development of this new online service," says Thomas Mühlberger, project manager Data Communication. "The start page contains an overview of essential information at one glance. Key system data are summarized in a monthly diagram as well as an output diagram. A separate "info field" displays important user information as well as possible warning messages."

Interactive diagrams provide easy and quick navigation for the user. The diagram scroll feature allows you to zoom in on detailed views such as a specific daily view. For those who would rather click instead of scroll, there is an interactive calendar where you can switch between daily, monthly and yearly views.

Individual access rights enable requirements-based utilization
Fronius SolarWeb allows you to assign different access authorization levels to help customize the service to the individual needs and interests of the user. For example, a system owner can assign an interested friend, neighbor or colleague "guest access" so that they can view select system data. If the owner wants to assign the monitoring function to the installer, he can enable "full access," which will allow the installer to access all system information as well as modify PV system settings.

One-of-a-kind: All PV systems at one glance
Owners of several systems as well as installers who provide monitoring services for their customers will especially like the new Fronius SolarWeb: In the past, you had to log in separately for each system. Now all systems are available under one login. This does away with the cumbersome login/logout process. It also provides completely new system and visualization options such as a total view of all systems in one single diagram as well as a comparison of several systems together.

For existing Fronius customers, upgrading is easy: All system data from Fronius will be automatically transferred to the new platform. There are no additional settings required - simply log in and go.

New registrations are carried out by entering your important system and owner data at System owners will then promptly receive a registration confirmation via e-mail and then have immediate access to Fronius SolarWeb.

Fronius SolarWeb will be available in German and English at the end of June. Its use – as with – is free. Fronius SolarWeb will replace Fronius; however, it will continue to be available for an additional three months.
