FOBA Showcases State-of-the-Art Laser Marking Solutions for Medical Technology at MedtecLIVE

End-to-End Process Reliability in Laser Marking

(PresseBox) (Selmsdorf, )
FOBA Laser Marking + Engraving will showcase its latest developments in laser marking for the medical technology sector at MedtecLIVE (May 5–7, 2026, Messe Stuttgart). The highlights include the FOBA Workflow and two laser systems of the latest generation.

FOBA Workflow: Quality Assurance Throughout the Entire Marking Process
The FOBA Workflow is a camera-based process concept designed to ensure reproducible marking results. It encompasses automatic part detection and alignment prior to marking, product validation to prevent incorrect markings, and real-time marking verification for quality assurance. The system supports medical device manufacturers in meeting regulatory requirements in accordance with UDI, MDR, and FDA standards.

Ultrashort Pulse Laser and UV Laser for Demanding Applications
FOBA will also present two laser technologies: The ultrashort pulse laser produces deep-black, low-reflection, and corrosion-resistant markings on metal – without thermal impact on the workpiece. It is particularly suited for surgical instruments and high-quality medical devices. The ultraviolet laser is designed for the precise marking of sensitive plastics and can be compactly integrated into FOBA marking workstations (M1000, M2000, M3000) as well as automated production lines.
