Rethinking Flexible Intralogistics: Flexlog at LogiMAT

Hall 5, Booth C75 /

(PresseBox) (Karlsruhe, )
Hall 5, Booth C75 / At LogiMAT 2026, Flexlog will present its innovative solutions for networked, scalable, and fully digitalized intralogistics in Hall 5, Booth C75. The focus will be on the web-based logistics platform FLEXLOG HORIZON, as well as the smart components Flexbox and Space. Growing production requirements, increasing product variety, and shorter response times demand intralogistics solutions that do more than simply transport materials. What is needed are systems that can adapt flexibly, be intelligently controlled, and provide transparency across all processes.

The Flexbox: One building block, many possibilities

The different variants of the flexlog modules enable the control of both 24V/48V motorized rollers and 400V drives, as well as the integration of automated guided vehicles (AGVs) into conventional conveyor technology via WLAN.

The Flexbox is the central element of flexlog’s intralogistics solutions. As a standardized, intelligent conveyor and transport unit, it handles fundamental material flow functions and can be flexibly integrated into a wide range of system concepts. Thanks to the ability to store scripts directly on the control modules, the Flexbox can be used as a decentralized controller for autonomous conveyor lines entirely without a higher-level central control system.

Its modular design allows the Flexbox to be deployed as a standalone unit or combined into larger systems, depending on requirements. In this way, rigid custom-built solutions are replaced by a flexible, reusable standard building block.

Conventional intralogistics systems are often designed for a fixed process and can only be adapted with considerable effort. Flexlog deliberately takes a different approach creating intralogistics solutions that evolve with processes, rather than forcing processes to adapt to the system.

The flexlog components can be:
  • Easily expanded or repositioned
  • Scaled in line with growing requirements
  • Integrated into existing systems or new installations
FLEXLOG HORIZON as the connecting layer

The logistics platform FLEXLOG HORIZON enables the integration of system components and sensor data into a unified visualization, independent of manufacturer or system. The platform’s modular structure allows users to configure individual modules according to their needs. These include, among others, system visualization, material flow control, process analysis, and maintenance and ticketing systems.

This structure allows users to implement only the modules that are relevant to their operation and to expand the system as needed. With customizable interfaces, FLEXLOG HORIZON can be seamlessly integrated into existing IT and system landscapes. It enables centralized monitoring and control of the entire logistics site, providing real-time transparency across all logistics processes and components.

Future-proof through scalability

The combination of modular components and the FLEXLOG HORIZON platform makes flexlog solutions particularly future-proof. New modules, additional conveyor lines, or further automation steps can be integrated at any time.

At the same time, FLEXLOG HORIZON provides the foundation for data-driven optimization. Key performance indicators such as throughput times, utilization rates, or disruptions are centrally available and support continuous process improvement.
