ISE 2016: Huge interest in new eyevis products

eyevis celebrates its success at the ISE / presents multiple innovations and nearly its entire product line / more visitors, bigger booth area, huge interest

(PresseBox) (Reutlingen, )
Four brand new product innovations, vital partners and countless exciting deals – the ISE booth of eyevis, the German manufacturer of visualization systems for professional applications, had plenty of highlights to offer. “Much more space than last year, a second floor as a meeting point and over 40 contact people per tradeshow day – this time we presented ourselves stronger than ever”, noted Sabrina Raschke, head of marketing at eyevis. “We are pleased about the huge success, with 20% more visitors to our booth!"

Innovations with uncompromising quality
Two modules of the new EYE-TOLED-5500, the transparent OLED display for extraordinary presentations, drew visitors to the booth as a special eye-catcher. Wherever black image content is shown, the 55 inch OLED display becomes transparent while the active pixels are self-luminous and put forward very brilliant colors.
Visible from afar, the 3.60 m by 2.10 m seamless LED wall made up of modules from the new ePANEL product line “powered by Unilumin” is the world's first 4K LED wall to be exhibited with a minimum pixel distance of 0.9 mm and 10 bit color depth! The ePANEL product line is the fruit of a recent strategic partnership between leading LED manufacturer Unilumin, China, and eyevis, Germany, and boasts a preselection of high-quality LEDs as well as factory calibrated modules to ensure perfect homogeneity when operating together.
The main theme of LED modules was rounded out by one of eyevis' own designs. The eyeLED-M series comprised of premium modular LED modules is maximally versatile and provides the utmost flexibility when setting up customized solutions. Its superior feature is the individual LED boards that make up a module and can be arranged to create displays of any size. This modular design also enables the removal of the unit on the back that houses the processing and power supply, allowing it to be installed separately from the video wall itself. Demonstrating this capability, an eyeLED-M series square LED display was exhibited at the ISE. “Our entire LED range was extremely successful at the tradeshow,” confirmed Hartmut Weinreich, LED product manager. “The uncompromising quality of our products of this trending technology was very well received by the visitors to ISE.”
Another central topic was the launch of the new video wall management software eyeUNIFY, which raises the bar in technology with its modular web-based software concept. eyeUNIFY enables platform-independent control, runs under a variety of operating systems and permits a seamlessly scalable number of clients while also being an open source project available to all users for free. “In the development of professional solutions, open source with its many advantages is becoming increasingly important to users,” said Kai Schönberg, head of IT development at eyevis, explaining the move toward an OS platform. “Users with high security standards appreciate the added transparency that comes with disclosing the source code.”
eyevis also introduced the EC-Slim series, its latest generation of rear projection cubes using DLP® technology and LED projection. The 60 inch models on show required a mere 487mm installation depth. A selection of displays from the eyeLCD series topped off the product range and included a QHD Touch with a screen size of 98 inches from the series of professional 4K/UHD monitor solutions, a mirror display and a number of video wall LCDs.

Partners with many more highlights
eyevis’ partner Perfect Media Solutions PMS, a digital signage solutions provider, also utilized the eyevis booth to present their services. Using a high-brightness double display that PMS developed with eyevis for one of their customers, PMS demonstrated their expertise in developing custom software and hardware solutions for digital signage systems at the POS.
smartPerform used two large-format eyevis touch displays to stage a presentation of their content management-based software for a wide range of interactive applications to inform, present and collaborate. They exhibited a project developed specifically for and with eyevis, as well as an application designed for a museum.
There were also displays by MMT, a specialist for interactive display solutions that are an ideal match for eyevis components. ISE visitors flocked to a multi-touch desk with 4K resolution.
eyevis’ partner Ventuz Technology in Hall 8 demonstrated the flexibility and creativity available when using eyevis technology with a large omniSHAPES wall built using 42 modules.
Sabrina Raschke said she was more than satisfied in her review of the tradeshow. She said: “We received outstanding feedback on our products. The LED products were especially well received, both the large installation "powered by Unilumin" and our new customized LED series. We would like to thank all staff, partners and visitors for making this ISE such a success!”
