Available immediately, the additions expand the existing portfolio of 20 MC AGM Ready batteries and guarantee that Exide AGM (dry) batteries have a ready-to-use equivalent. This is crucial following the implementation of EU Regulation 1148/2019, which, since 2020, has prohibited the sale of battery electrolytes to end-users – driving demand for prepared batteries at the point of sale.
Exide’s AGM Ready batteries are built to the OE pedigree and standards that both retailers and riders expect. Furthermore, because they require no initial acid filling and come fully charged, they are ready to use immediately.
With a maximum power output ranging from 85 to 230 CCA, depending on the application, and an extended lifecycle, they are an ideal choice for various motorcycles, including Ducati, Harley-Davidson, BMW and Kawasaki. The seven new battery types cover more than 40 different models from over 20 bike manufacturers, as well as a wide range of ATV & Utility, Snow Mobiles, Water Crafts, and Jet Skis.
