Six Sigma ist das weltweit wohl am schnellsten wachsende Qualitäts-sicherungsverfahren. Mit ihm werden Produkte, Prozesse und Geschäftsvorgänge erfolgreich optimiert. In Deutschland gewährleisten die Quality Guidelines des Europäischen Six Sigma Clubs (ESSC-D) ein entsprechend hohes Ausbildungsniveau mit einem klaren Zertifizierungs-standard für Green Belts und Black Belts. Mehr als 1000 Experten wurden mittlerweile nach den Qualitätsrichtlinien des ESSC-D ausgebildet. „Wir freuen uns über diesen Erfolg und die große Akzeptanz unserer hohen Standards im Markt“ sagt Herbert Theato, Vorstandsmitglied des ESSC-D.

Im Rahmen einer Standardisierungsoffensive hatte der ESSC-D systematische Schulungsinhalte erarbeitet und eindeutige Zertifizierungskriterien geschaffen. Der European Six Sigma Club Deutschland e.V. (ESSC-D) ist ein Expertennetzwerk engagierter Fachleute der Six Sigma Methodik aus vielen Industriezweigen und allen Unternehmensbereichen. Der Verein wurde im Juli 2007 gegründet und umfasst rund 400 Mitglieder, davon rund 30 national und international agierende Unternehmen. Der ESSC-D fördert die nationale und internationale Zusammenarbeit und verbreitet seine Erkenntnisse in jährlichen Fachkonferenzen. Die ESSC-D Mitglieder entwickeln Standards der Six Sigma Methodik, die der Ausbildung zum Six Sigma Experten in Europa dienen sollen. Sie erarbeiten praxisgerechte Inhalte für die Ausbildung von Master Black Belts, Black Belts und Green Belts und definieren Kriterien für deren Zertifizierung.
