ENOVA erhält BImSchG-Genehmigung für den Windpark Grashaus

Baubeginn im zweiten Quartal 2026

ENOVA hat die Genehmigung nach dem Bundes-Immissionsschutzgesetz (BImSchG) für den Windpark Grashaus bei Wirdum (Landkreis Aurich) erhalten. Damit rückt die Realisierung eines weiteren ENOVA-Projekts in Ostfriesland mit einer Gesamtleistung von rund 12 MW einen entscheidenden Schritt näher.

ENOVA wird südlich von Wirdum zwei Enercon-Anlagen des Typs E-160 EP5 mit einer Leistung von je 5,56 MW errichten. Der Windpark soll jährlich etwa 31.000 MWh grünen Strom erzeugen – genug, um den durchschnittlichen Energiebedarf von rund 8.000 Drei-Personen-Haushalten zu decken.

„Mit der Genehmigung für den Windpark Grashaus können wir mit der Umsetzung eines weiteren Projekts im Weser-Ems-Gebiet – unserem ‚ENOVA-Land‘ – beginnen und unseren Bestand in der Heimatregion weiter ausbauen“, freut sich Timo Oltmanns, Team Lead Project Development.

Der Baubeginn für den Windpark und die zugehörige Netzinfrastruktur, einschließlich einer neuen Kabeltrasse zum Anschluss an das bestehende Umspannwerk in Upgant-Schott, ist für das zweite Quartal 2026 vorgesehen; in Betrieb gehen soll der neue Windpark dann 2027.
