Bulgin have now extended their 900 series Buccaneer range of heavy duty IP68 sealed connectors to include a 7 pole version for all body styles.
Rated at 600V ac and 32A per contact and using screw terminals for quick and easy termination and maintenance, the connection is ideal in high power applications and has already found uses in external lighting control systems.
This new option joins the existing range of 2, 3, 4, and 5 pole inserts all available in a range of cable and chassis mounting body styles.
The flex and flex in-line connector type bodies have also been expanded and a new version now accommodates cables up to 22mm diameter. This body, the PXA series, still maintains the IP68 rating for mated connections and also includes a saddle clamp system to provide even more security for large cable constructions. The large cable entry body can be applied to all insert configurations from 2 to 7 poles for those applications where thicker cable insulation and overall sheaths need to be accommodated.
