EA kündigt neue Inhalte für Spore an

Spore entwickelt sich weiter. Nachdem bisher schon mehr als 30 Millionen Kreationen von Spielern erschaffen wurden, gibt Electronic Arts nun neue Werkzeuge in die Hände der Spore-Begeisterten. Das Süß und Schrecklich-Ergänzungspack beinhaltet über 100 neue Körperteile, Animationen, Farbtexturen und Hintergründe. Grafisch sind die neuen Inhalte einerseits in einem süßen, comic-haften Stil, andererseits in einem schrecklich schaurigen Monster-Stil gehalten.

Darüber hinaus steht das erste Erweiterungspack in den Startlöchern, das die Space-Phase des Spiels stark vertieft. Das erste Mal können Spieler ihre weltraumfahrenden Kreaturen auf jeden Planeten herunter beamen, um dort Missionen zu erfüllen und den Planeten zu erforschen. Der neue Adventure Creator wird es möglich machen, eigene Missionen zu designen und diese online anderen Spore-Spielern verfügbar zu machen.

"Spore ist bisher schon eine sehr kreative und persönliche Erfahrung", so Lucy Bradshaw, General Managerin des Maxis Studios. "Viele Fans haben uns nach mehr Werkzeugen gefragt, um die Kreaturen noch individueller zu gestalten, während es andere nach neuen Missionen dürstete. Mit den neuen Packs können wir die Bedürfnisse der Fans befriedigen!"

Das Süß und Schrecklich-Ergänzungspack wird für PC und Mac ab dem 20. November erhältlich sein. Das Space Phase-Erweiterungspack wird Frühjahr 2009 für PC und Mac veröffentlicht.
