SAP EWM Integration With Repetitive Manufacturing at Dr. Pepper For Goods Receipts From Production Lines
The presentation covers the success story of integrating SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) with repetitive manufacturing for finished products (beverages). The solution includes goods receipt preparation, seamless integration of the EWM and SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC) systems using post-processing framework (PPF), use of radio frequency (RF devices) for goods receipt and put away with two scans and downstream postings. The enhancements leveraging standard SAP function for goods receipt will back flush the components, overhead cost postings, etc. will be discussed.
