Bislang konnten die Abonnenten des Dr.Web Antivirus-Services Endgeräte nur unter Windows und Android schützen. Jetzt ist der Virenschutz für Mac OS X für Abonnenten von Dr.Web Classic und Dr.Web Premium verfügbar. Um Android- und Mac-OSX-Geräte über Dr.Web AV-Desk zu schützen, müssen sie entsprechend konfiguriert werden. Dazu stellt das Subscription Control Center über XML API oder das Web-Interface eine Konfigurationsdatei bereit.

Um das Update durchzuführen, sollten sich Abonnenten an den für sie zuständigen Doctor Web Mitarbeiter wenden.
