At IPC Midwest we present the MTS30, Digitaltest's 19" rack mount In-circuit test system. The system offers the ability to perform both analog and digital tests in a chassis that can be configured in a "rack and stack" mode.
Any integration of the MTS30 opens new functional test capabilities with the market standard 'LabVIEW' for Digitaltest clients and In-Circuit test capabilities. Users of National Instruments Lab VIEW and Test Stand as well as PXI can now extend their existing functional testers with the MTS30. Other options, like the integration of National Instruments Modular Instruments into Digitaltest systems series MTS 300 are currently being evaluated to further extend its capabilities. The Digitaltest MTS30 system together with NIs market leading software can be seen as a state-of-the-art global solution for electronic manufacturers who need to achieve the shortest possible time to market in a globally competitive market. The price/performance ratio offered by this software/hardware offers quick return of investment.

Reverse Engineering
Digitaltest offers Reverse Engineering Service, to help clients to recover the design of the board and be able to repair and/or re-manufacture the PCB's again. Digitaltest developed a specific tool for reverse engineering named Digitizer. With the help of the Digitizer the board data is re-created and all the connectivity is discovered. A CAD file for the board can then be generated that has all the board components and nets and that can be used in repair and/or re-manufacture. Furthermore Digitaltest can also provide clients with the board schematics.
Contract Board Testing
This is also a brand new service which we offer since the summer. Digitaltest handles all board test needs. Services include applications, test program generation, debug and fixture build. Digitaltest can use any test programs and fixtures from all manufacturers such as GenRad, Teradyne, Agilent (HP) etc. on all our Testers quickly and easily.
Digitaltest's new service is focused on supporting its customers with high quality electronic tests. Due to staff shortage or for reasons of costs, some companies are unable to perform in-house testing. Whether it's through lack of time, shortage of capacity or simply a matter of declining volumes: if running a test system in-house doesn't pay off, outsourcing to a capable service provider is a viable solution.
