Digitale Sicherheit für Journalisten: Open Online Workshop #digisafe

Der NSA-Skandal, digitale Überwachung und Hacker-Angriffe: Wie sicher ist die digitale Welt? Und was müssen vor allem Journalisten beachten?

Die DW Akademie lädt zu dem Open Online Workshop "Digital Safety for Journalists" vom 2. bis 6. Dezember 2013 ein. Der kostenlose Workshop wird in Zusammenarbeit mit Reporter ohne Grenzen durchgeführt.

Insgesamt werden sechs Live-Online-Seminare (Webinars) mit Journalisten und Experten angeboten. Unter anderem:

- Ala'a Shehabi, Bloggerin und Aktivistin aus Bahrain, die nachweislich ausgespäht wurde

- Anna Roth, Sicherheitsexpertin bei Tactical Tech, einer NGO, die sich für digitale Sicherheit für Aktivisten und Regimekritiker einsetzt

- Sebastian Mondial, Datenjournalist, der als einer der ersten Journalisten die Offshore-Leaks-Festplatte auswertete

- Morgan Marquis-Boire, Experte für digitale Sicherheit

- Hauke Gierow, Internetexperte bei Reporter ohne Grenzen

Begleitend zu den Live-Online-Seminaren werden täglich Interviews, Tutorials und Berichte auf einem begleitenden Blog veröffentlicht. Themen werden unter anderem der Testlauf des anonymen Browser-Tools TOR in Kambodscha und der Umgang mit dem alltäglichen Passwort-Chaos sein.
