Two new transformerless string inverters, the SOLIVIA 15 and 20 EU G3 TL, are a perfect addition to Delta’s diversified product line of string and central inverters. The SOLIVIA 15TL features 15 kW nominal output power and the SOLIVIA 20TL features 20 kW nominal output power. The inverters have a maximum efficiency of 98.1 %. They have a wide input voltage range of 200 up to 1000 V, as well as 2 MPP trackers, that enable more flexibility in designing a PV installation. Production will begin in the fourth quarter of 2010 and the first models will be available in January 2011 due to high demand.
The Solar Inverters are designed for use in eight countries (DE, FR, ES, IT, PT, GR, CZ, BE) and each unit is configurable via the display for the respective country. They operate within a wide temperature range from -20°C up to 60°C, that ensures high yields even for installations in colder or warmer climates. Additionally, these models have an integrated DC disconnector that leads to reduced installation efforts and expenses.
The models have a compact design and are very easy to install by using the unique mounting bracket that is provided. Due to the IP54/IP65 protection class of these models, they are suitable for indoor and protected outdoor applications. Via the integrated LCD graphic display, simple handling is rendered possible; the operator can choose between five different menu language settings (DE, EN, ES, FR, IT). The inverters are compatible with the monitoring products from Meteocontrol that allow the user to monitor, record and recall all the different measurement values and system data.
