Dell und Microsoft stellen mit vStart 200m eine neue, schnell einsatzbereite Virtualisierungslösung vor, die in einer Private Cloud bis zu 200 virtuelle Maschinen hosten kann

Dell vStart 200m enthält ein Komplettpaket bestehend aus Dell-Servern, Massenspeicher, Netzwerk-Komponenten, Rack, Verkabelung, Microsoft Hyper-V und Windows Server 2008 R2 DataCenter Edition. Mit dem Komplettpaket können Unternehmen bis zu 200 virtuelle Maschinen einrichten und nutzen. Die Komponenten sind optimal aufeinander abgestimmt, vorkonfiguriert und nach kurzer Zeit einsatzbereit, denn alle Module sind bei der Lieferung bereits vollständig miteinander verbunden. Darüber hinaus lässt sich die Lösung nahtlos in die bestehende Infrastruktur integrieren.

Zur Verwaltung stellt Dell die eigene Advanced Infrastructure Management (AIM) Software zur Verfügung, einschließlich einer Integration in Microsoft System Center. Dell vStart 200m ist für Microsoft Private Cloud Fast Track, eine Referenz-Architektur für Private Clouds, zertifiziert. Unternehmen können damit ihre Virtualisierungslösung problemlos in eine Private Cloud überführen.

Bei vStart 200m sind standardmäßig drei Jahre Dell ProSupport enthalten.
