EqualLogic verstärkt sein deutsches Team mit dem neuen Regional Sales Manager Joseph Terrell. Der gebürtige Amerikaner startete bei EqualLogic im Juni 2006 und wird die Kundenbasis in Deutschland betreuen und erweitern.

Joseph Terrell hat mehr als zehn Jahre Erfahrung im Verkauf von Speicherprodukten in Zentraleuropa. Vor EqualLogic war der zweifache Familienvater über acht Jahre bei Network Appliance, wo er in unterschiedlichen Positionen für das Channel- und Sales-Business verantwortlich war. Terrell spielte eine wichtige Rolle beim Aufbau von Network Appliance in Deutschland. Er erschloss neue Territorien und erreichte hervorragende Umsatzergebnisse. Vor Network Appliance arbeitete der 37-jährige Amerikaner beim US Department of Defence als Experte für spezielle WAN-Anwendungen.

EqualLogic mit Hauptsitz in Nashua, USA, wurde mit dem Ziel gegründet, den netzwerk-basierten Speicher zu revolutionieren. Heute rangiert das Unternehmen unter den Top drei Anbietern von IP-SAN-Speicherlösungen weltweit. Die EqualLogic PS-Serie bietet ein sehr einfaches Datenmanagement sowie eine Enterprise Class Verfügbarkeit um die Anforderungen in allen Unternehmen, gleich welcher Branche und Größe, zu erfüllen.
Laut IDC ist der IP-SAN-Markt von 2004 bis 2005 auf 300 Millionen Dollar angewachsen. 2006 wird er über 800 Millionen Dollar und bis 2009 bis ca. 4,5 Milliarden Dollar wachsen. Damit steigert sich der IP-SAN-Markt weit über 200 Prozent Jahr für Jahr. EqualLogic erreichte von 2004 auf 2005 ein Wachstum von über 400 Prozent.
