Whether heavy coils, sensitive large-volume machine components, or everyday industrial transports: At LogiMAT 2026, Genkinger demonstrates how a wide variety of loads can be transported safely, ergonomically, and efficiently. The exhibits at Genkinger’s booth in Hall 10 (10C31) clearly show that certain intralogistics challenges cannot be solved with standard equipment. “Our vehicles are always developed based on a precise analysis of the process and the load,” explains Richard Ludwig, Managing Director of Genkinger. “Weight, dimensions, shape, and environmental conditions determine the technology.”

Electric Coil Manipulator – Safe Handling of Heavy Loads

On display is an electric coil manipulator designed for the internal transport of heavy coils weighing up to 5,000 kg (11,000 lb) and with diameters ranging from 800 to 1,500 mm. The coils are picked up vertically and positively secured using concave prism fork tines with a hydraulic hold-down device.

In addition to transport, the manipulator also handles the transfer of coils to production machines. Sensitive proportional hydraulics, electric power steering, and an ergonomic multifunction tiller head allow precise positioning of the load—even on occasionally oily concrete floors at the customer’s facility. “As an additional safety measure, we recommended Tractothan tires,” explains Harald Harter, Key Account and Project Manager at Genkinger. “They improve traction, enhance starting performance, and reduce slip.” This ensures controlled and safe movements—crucial when handling steel, aluminum, and copper coils.

Electric Walk-Behind Stacker as a Manipulator
For Construction Machinery Components up to 700 kg

The Genkinger electric walk-behind stacker enables the handling of a wide variety of loads in the construction equipment sector. For example, tires with diameters of up to 1,770 mm  and weights of up to 700 kg can be picked up either horizontally from pallets or vertically directly from the floor.

Rotating, tilting, and side-shift functions allow precise positioning. These movements are supported by radio remote control and sensitive proportional hydraulics. As a result, the unit is ideally suited for assembly and staging processes involving frequently changing load formats.
