Bereits zum vierten Mal wurde von dem Beratungsunternehmen Shoplupe® und der Internet World Business der „Shop Usability Award“ verliehen. Knapp 300 Unternehmen haben sich um den begehrten Preis für den benutzerfreundlichsten Online-Shop beworben. Eine unabhängige Fach-Jury aus Experten der e-Commerce Szene bewertete in 13 Kategorien die Shops. Comtech.de erhielt die Nominierung als einer der besten Online-Shops im Bereich Hardware, Software & Unterhaltungselektronik.

„Wir sind sehr stolz auf die Nominierung für den Shop Usability Award 2011. Wir haben im August letzten Jahres einen Relaunch unseres Shops durchgeführt und dabei besonderen Wert auf die benutzerfreundliche Navigation und eine komfortable Live-Suche gelegt. Comtech GmbH

Die 2004 von Joachim Ehmann neu gegründete Comtech GmbH erwarb die Markenrechte und die Domain www.comtech.de. Seit 1985 wurden unter dieser Marke Consumer-PCs in eigenen Filialgeschäften angeboten. Comtech war von bis Ende 2002 mehrheitlich im Besitz der Mobilcom AG.
