Das Umbuchen nach einer physischen Veränderung des Lagerplatzes funktioniert mit jeder Lagersoftware. Bei Umbuchungen OHNE physische Bewegung der Bestände trennt sich jedoch die Spreu vom Weizen.

  • Eigentümerwechsel – zum Beispiel bei Konsignationsware, bei der der Eigentumsvorbehalt bis zur Entnahme bestehen bleibt

  • Datenkorrekturen – Änderungen in den Bestandsdaten, um Fehler zu beheben oder neue Informationen zu integrieren
