The possible applications of flock technology are virtually endless.
Flocking is used wherever tactile, insulating, noise-reducing, sliding or adhesive, self-cleaning or decorative properties are required.
In flocking, small fiber particles are electrostatically applied to an adhesive layer that has been applied immediately beforehand, creating a uniformly dense textile surface made up of millions of flock fibers.
There are virtually no limits to the substrate, so that flock can even be applied to complex 3D components.
The adhesive can be applied either over the entire surface by spraying and brushing or in a specific pattern using screen printing or rotary printing. This results in highly functional flock coatings for a wide range of applications, such as molded parts, glove boxes, spiral cables, rubber profiles, carpet mats, decorative items, cosmetic applicators, jersey numbers, deflectors, paint rollers, cleaning cloths, eyeglass cases, insulation and barrier layers, and many more.
