CHT Group's Latest Silicone Developments at THE BATTERY SHOW EUROPE 2026

From June 9 to 11, 2026, the CHT Group will present its latest silicone elastomer developments at its booth B26 in Hall 3.

(PresseBox) (Tübingen, )
  • SilSo Lite 21030: Lightweight silicone foam for applications with demanding dispensing requirements
  • SilSo Lite 21010: Low-density silicone elastomer for potting applications and the reliable protection of electronic components
  • SilSo Lite 21025: Two-component silicone foam for protecting electronic components against impact and moisture ingress, as well as for preventing thermal runaway
From June 9 to 11, 2026, the CHT Group will be presenting its latest product developments in the field of silicone elastomers at its booth B26 in Hall 3 at THE BATTERY SHOW EUROPE at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center.

This year’s focus is on the following silicone developments from the CHT Group:

SilSo Lite 21030:

At the trade show, the CHT Group is presenting SilSo Lite 21030, its latest development in the field of silicone foam materials. This low-viscosity two-component silicone foam was specifically developed for lightweight applications with demanding dosing requirements. Thanks to its excellent flow properties and medium density, SilSo Lite 21030 enables a uniform rise in level with minimal pressure buildup. This makes the material particularly suitable for potting, encapsulation, and barrier applications where optimal flow – such as between battery cells – is required.

In addition, SilSo Lite 21030 offers effective protection against fire hazards and thermal events, thereby supporting the safety of modern technological applications.

SilSo Lite 21010:

At the trade fair, the CHT Group is presenting SilSo Lite 21010, a state-of-the-art, low-density silicone elastomer designed to provide reliable protection for electronic components. This two-component material was developed specifically for potting applications and is also suitable for integration into energy storage modules for electric vehicles. SilSo Lite 21010 combines low viscosity and low density with flame-retardant properties and high dielectric strength. As a result, the material meets key requirements for weight reduction and the prevention of thermal runaway. In addition, the silicone elastomer effectively protects electronic components from moisture, dirt, vibrations, and mechanical stress. SilSo Lite 21010 is particularly suitable for applications requiring low smoke emission, reduced flame spread, and low toxicity.

SilSo Lite 21025:

At the trade show, the CHT Group is showcasing SilSo Lite 21025, a new, high-performance silicone foam designed to protect electronic components and for use in energy storage modules for electric vehicles. This two-component silicone is self-foaming at room temperature and forms a closed-cell structure. SilSo Lite 21025 meets key requirements of modern electronics and e-mobility applications, including weight reduction and the prevention of thermal runaway. At the same time, the material offers reliable protection against moisture, dirt, vibrations, and mechanical stress.

The silicone foam is particularly suitable for applications requiring low smoke emission, reduced flame spread, and low toxicity.

THE BATTERY SHOW EUROPE in Stuttgart is Europe’s leading trade fair for cutting-edge battery technology in the fields of electric and hybrid vehicles, energy supply and renewable energy, stationary power supply, portable electronics, medical technology, military, and telecommunications.

Visit us from June 9 to 11, 2026, at our booth B26 in Hall 3, where our experts will be happy to tell you more about our latest silicone elastomers for the electronics sector.
