Mit Wirksamkeit zum 1. Oktober 2008 erhält CGS Publishing Technologies International, führender Hersteller von Farbmanagement-Lösungen, digitalen Proofsystemen und Proofmedien, die Mitgliedschaft als Partner im DigitaldruckForum. Im Bereich Digitaldruck-Lösungen bietet CGS den ORIS Press Matcher zur Druckoptimierung an. "Die Partnerschaft mit einem Top-Player wie CGS zeigt, wie wichtig es wird, im Digitaldruck nicht nur optimale Ergebnisse, sondern auch eine bestmögliche Qualitätssicherung zu erreichen", erläutert Andreas Weber, Sprecher des DigitaldruckForums.

Das DigitaldruckForum (DDF) wurde 1996 mit Sitz in der Gutenberg-Stadt Mainz gegründet. Es versteht sich als eine unabhängige Brancheninitiative für den kritisch-konstruktiven Austausch von Innovationen in der Kommunikation und interaktives Marketing mit Printmedien. Herzstück des DDF ist das Webportal www.digitaldruck-forum.org, das kontinuierlich stark wachsende Zugriffszahlen verzeichnet. Einige zehntausend Fachleute aus dem In- und Ausland sowie Fachmedien nutzen das DDF-Portal als zuverlässige Informationsquelle.

Das DDF führt in Kooperation mit Technologie-Entwicklern (wie Canon, HP, Konica Minolta und Xerox), Verbänden (wie GWA Gesamtverband Kommunikationsagenturen), Logistikern sowie einer großen Zahl von Digitaldruck-Dienstleistern national und international mehrere Dutzend Events pro Jahr durch. Der nächste Kongress des DigitaldruckForums findet am 18. November 2008 in Mainz zum Thema "Ideas for Profit" statt. Im Rahmen eines Vortrags und Workshops wird CGS seine Lösungen und Angebote für den Digitaldruckmarkt präsentieren.
