International experts speak on the topic of "XXL Composites" at the 4th CFK-Valley Stade Convention on 15/16 June.

The 4th International CFK-Valley Stade Convention will be taking place at the STADEUM in Stade on 15 -16 June 2010 under the motto of “XXL Composites for Air, Sea and Land”

(PresseBox) (Stade, )
Carbon fiber reinforced polymers, CFRP for short, have a prominent position among materials of the future. The unique properties of this material have already made it an irreplaceable material for many industrial branches today. In addition to the automobile and aerospace industries, the ship building and wind turbine industries are increasingly profiting from this valuable composite material. The manufacture of considerably lighter and therefore more energysaving aircraft, vehicles, ships and larger and even more efficient rotor blades for wind parks is possible with these "black fibers".

With the topic of "XXL Composites for Air, Sea and Land", the 2day convention will be focusing specifically on these areas. The lectures of top international speakers from renowned companies and institutes are accordingly clustered to topics from the industrial sectors of:

- aerospace
- automobile manufacture
- wind turbines
- the shipbuilding & architecture

As the top speaker of the Aerospace Session, Bettina Arold from EADS Deutschland GmbH will be speaking on the topic of "Frame Manufacturing by Braiding (BraF - Braided Frames)". Of particular interest will be the lecture on "Cost Effective Engineering of Lightweight Structures" from VISTAGY Waltham (Massachusetts, USA) during the Automotive Session. Among the top speakers in 2010 are: Helmut Färber - Premium AEROTEC GmbH (Nordenham), Dirk Röstermundt - DLR (Brunswick), Dr. Bernd Hoevel - DOW Deutschland (Wuppertal) and Thomas Hedges - Metris (Virgina, USA). The entire program is available for downloading as of immediately at www.cfk-convention.com.

The concept of CFK-Valley Stade Convention as an expert event for carbon fiber composite lightweight construction is aimed at participants from the areas of design, product development, construction, product management, application and purchasing. The attractive lectures specifically aimed at target groups and the accompanying international exhibition make the CFK-Valley Stade Convention 2010 a central meeting point in the target field of for carbon fiber composite lightweight construction. Among the exhibitors this year are: Airtech Europe, Bolle & Cords GmbH, Deutsches Institut für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V., Evonik Röhm GmbH, Flow Europe GmbH, GMA-Werkstoffprüfung GmbH, Klenk GmbH & Co. KG, Olympus Deutschland GmbH, Premium Aerotec GmbH, Saertex GmbH & Co. KG, Tartler GmbH, Toho Tenax Europe GmbH, VOGT Ultrasonics GmbH etc. A few booths are still available.

The current floor plan, exhibitor forms for interested participants and registration forms for visitors as well as the program are available for downloading www.cfk-convention.com.
