Canto Cumulus 8.0.2 ab sofort verfügbar

Neues Update bietet neben zahlreichen Fehlerbehebungen Unterstützung fu?r Windows 7 und Mac OS X Snow Leopard

Canto® gibt die sofortige Verfügbarkeit von Canto Cumulus 8.0.2 bekannt, dem zweiten planmäßigen Update der im Mai veröffentlichten Cumulus 8 Produktlinie.

Das Update umfasst rund 100 Fehlerbehebungen und Verbesserungen und gewährleistet Kompatibilität mit dem neuen Microsoft Betriebssystem Windows 7, das im Oktober erscheinen soll, und dem im August erschienenen Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6).

„Vom Zeitpunkt her bot Cumulus 8.0.2 die ideale Gelegenheit, um in nur einem Update Unterstützung für Snow Leopard und Windows 7 hinzuzufügen“, erklärt Canto CTO Thomas Schleu. „Und nachdem Cumulus 8 nun bereits zweimal feinabgestimmt wurde, können wir den Schwerpunkt ab jetzt wieder ganz auf die Weiterentwicklung und Umsetzung der neuen Möglichkeiten legen, die sich durch die neue Cumulus Architektur eröffnen.“

Canto empfiehlt allen Kunden auf Cumulus 8.0.2 zu aktualisieren.

Fu?r Kunden mit gültiger Service-Vereinbarung ist das Update kostenlos. Kunden ohne gültige Service-Vereinbarung erhalten von ihrem Canto Ansprechpartner weitere Upgrade-Informationen.
