Bundesminister Gabriel reist nach Paris

Der Bundesminister für Wirtschaft und Energie, Sigmar Gabriel, reist am Donnerstag, den 31. Juli 2014, nach Paris.

Er wird dort zu Gesprächen mit dem französischen Premierminister Manuel Valls zusammenkommen. Im Mittelpunkt der Gespräche stehen aktuelle europa-, außen-, und sicherheitspolitische Themen.

Im Rahmen seiner Reise wird er zudem gemeinsam mit dem französischen Staatspräsidenten François Hollande einen Kranz für den französischen Sozialisten und Kriegsgegner Jean Jaurès niederlegen. Der Todestag Jean Jaurès', der am Vorabend des Ausbruchs des 1. Weltkriegs Opfer eines Attentats wurde, jährt sich am 31. Juli zum 100. Mal. Die Kranzniederlegung findet am 31.07.2014 um 9.15 Uhr am Café du Croissant, 146 Rue Montmartre, 75002 Paris, statt.
