Arbeitsstab unterstützt Arbeit des Koordinators für die maritime Wirtschaft

Im Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie (BMWi) wurde der Arbeitsstab "Maritime Wirtschaft" neu eingerichtet.

Unter dem Dach des Arbeitsstabes werden die Zuständigkeiten für die Schiffbauindustrie einschließlich Meerestechnik und die maritime Wirtschaftspolitik ministerienübergreifend koordiniert.

Der Koordinator der Bundesregierung für die maritime Wirtschaft und Parlamentarische Staatssekretär beim Bundesminister für Wirtschaft und Technologie, Hans-Joachim Otto: "Mit dieser organisatorischen Maßnahme tragen wir der Bedeutung der maritimen Wirtschaft in Deutschland stärker Rechnung."

Auch die Seeschifffahrt, die Hafenwirtschaft sowie die Querschnittsthemen "Offshore-Windenergienutzung, maritimer Klima- und Umweltschutz und die maritime Sicherheit sind eingeschlossen. Der Arbeitsstab wird eine Scharnierfunktion zwischen dem Koordinator für die maritime Wirtschaft und den einzelnen zuständigen Arbeitsbereichen des BMWi sowie anderen Bundes- und Landesministerien übernehmen.
