KON-TIKI fuhr Huckepack via Bremerhaven

Mit dem Anlaufen des Kinofilms KON-TIKI, in dem es um die Expedition Thor Heyerdahls über den Pazifik geht, wurde der Nachbau des legendären Balsa-Floßes am Autoterminal der BLG in Bremerhaven umgeschlagen. Die KON-TIKI kam mit dem Schiff AUTORACER aus Norwegen und ging mit dem Auto Carrier MIGNON in die USA. Trotz Palmendach, Balsaholz und Sonnenschein kamen am Autoterminal aufgrund der winterlichen Kälte keine Südseegefühle auf.
