Blättchen & Partner hat das Management der Laborkette Amedes beim Verkauf an den kanadischen Pensionsfonds Omers Infrastructure, an Goldman Sachs Asset Management und AXA IM Alts im Rahmen der Managementbeteiligung beraten. Verkäufer ist Antin Infrastructure Partners. Über den Kaufpreis wurde Stillschweigen vereinbart. Das Closing soll bis Ende 2021 vollzogen sein, vorbehaltlich kartellrechtlicher Genehmigungen.

Amedes wurde 1987 gegründet und beschäftigt rund 4.000 Mitarbeiter. Insgesamt ist Amedes an 90 Standorten in Deutschland, Belgien, Österreich und Dubai aktiv.

Gemeinsam mit den neuen Eigentümern will Amedes sein Wachstum beschleunigen und das Laborgeschäft weiter ausbauen.
