betonte der Präsident des Bayerischen Handwerkstages (BHT),
Heinrich Traublinger, MdL a. D., bei der Abschlussfeier des 60.
Leistungswettbewerbs des Deutschen Handwerks auf Landesebene
am 21. Oktober in Ansbach. Mit über 60 Prozent stellen Haupt- und
Mittelschüler die zahlenmäßig größte Gruppe. "Das zeigt die außerordentliche
Bedeutung der Haupt- und Mittelschule für das bayerische
Handwerk", sagte Traublinger bei der Ehrung der 108 Landessiegerinnen
und -sieger, die in diesem Jahr als Beste ihres Ausbildungsberufes
in Bayern abgeschnitten haben.
Der BHT-Präsident wies darauf hin, dass auch immer mehr Realschüler
und Abiturienten eine handwerkliche Ausbildung beginnen:
"Es freut uns, dass wir unabhängig von der schulischen Vorbildung
als Wirtschaftsbereich für alle jungen Menschen attraktiv sind." Dennoch
werden auch im Handwerk in diesem Jahr wieder viele Betriebe
ohne Lehrling dastehen. Die Regionaldirektion Bayern der Bundesagentur
für Arbeit zählte Ende August in allen Wirtschaftsbereichen
noch 18.360 offene Ausbildungsplätze in Bayern. Das sind
über 4.400 oder 31,5 Prozent mehr als im Vorjahr.
Traublinger warb bei den Landessiegerinnen und -siegern dafür, als
Nächstes den Meistertitel anzustreben. Traublinger: "Meisterbetriebe
sind sehr erfolgreich am Markt: Fünf Jahre nach Gründung existieren
noch 70 Prozent, bei Betrieben ohne Meisterqualifikation sind es
lediglich noch 45 Prozent." Die "Begabtenförderung berufliche Bildung"
unterstützt junge Handwerkerinnen und Handwerker unter
bestimmten Voraussetzungen bei der Weiterqualifikation mit einem
Stipendium von bis zu 5.100 Euro.
