Even under the mainsail and self-tacking jib, the BAVARIA C46 has a sail area of 115 square meters upwind, the reason is the new rig-sail concept with larger headsails. The larger 56 square meter genoa, which can be sheeted at a narrow angle via the genoa rails on the housing, ensures greater speed and optimized turning angles and thus offers maximum height upwind.
