Batteryuniversity presents itself with a new website

New appearance

Batteryuniversity Gmbh (BU) presents itself with a new face. The new website will be released in a completely new “look and feel” and is now available under the domain http://www.bu-lab.eu. With its functional menu structure, the website enables users to quickly find out about the BU's services as an accredited test laboratory for battery and environmental tests. The responsive design also enables users to obtain information properly on the go. New picture worlds of the test equipment as well as the employees of the Batteryuniversity show a personal and sympathetic appearance. With the new website, the BU reflects a corporate identity as a company of the future in the field of electromobility. The BU's lab will be expanded to meet the growing demand for testing of lithium-ion battery systems in the areas of energy storage systems, e-mobility products, automotive battery systems, electric bus batteries and forklift trucks.

Dialogue with the community via social media and newsletters

The link to the social media channels such as Facebook, Xing and LinkedIn of the BU make the new homepage a future-oriented website, which relies on dialogue with the community. Thanks to the integrated newsletter function, customers and interested parties can receive the latest information every month and find out about seminars and events. The new website of the BU is privacy-compliant under the new DSGVO.

Seminars for expert know-how

On the website, customers and interested parties can learn about and register for basic training in lithium-ion battery technology and battery management systems as well as other specialist seminars. The training offer of the BU is aimed at battery developers and users, project managers and product managers as well as purchasers and logisticians.

With the test stands of the BU such as the 120 kilonewton shaker and vacuum chamber for standard and development tests, large batteries for electric cars or electric forklifts can be tested. The 120 kilonewton shaker of the BU can be loaded with a weight of 800 kg and test noise profiles, sliding sine, superimposed sinus and shock pulses. The BU offers the electrical testing of large battery building units during development or according to standard specifications.
