With this geographical expansion, b-next is responding to ever growing demand from the financial sector for standard software solutions to support regulatory compliance and the implementation of the EU’s Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID).
b-next has developed sophisticated applications for these areas based on its modular MACOC:Suite platform, which is already used by more than 100 financial institutions. Continued growth in the number of users is expected throughout Europe. “We want to be close to our customers, both in the financial center of London as well as in Vienna, which is a significant hub for Central and Eastern Europe,” says Sales and Business Development Manager Stefan Queck.
In conjunction with its expansion of business activities, b-next is also enlarging its leader-ship team. Dave Crinnion is joining as head of sales for b-next solutions in the United Kingdom and the Benelux countries. Mr. Crinnion, a U.S. citizen, brings extensive experience in the implementation of MiFID projects to his new position.
