Mit MACOC:MMM gegen Market Abuse

b-next erweitert die MACOC:Suite um das neue Modul MACOC:MMM zur Identifizierung von Marktmanipulation und Marktmissbrauch.

Die Applikation MACOC:MMM ist in die etablierte b-next Plattform für alle regulatorischen Anforderungen integriert und kommuniziert mit den Anwendungen MACOC:Compliance und MACOC:Trades.

Grundlage im internationalen Umfeld bildet die Market Abuse Directive. Die Direktive, ein Schlüsselelement des EU Financial Services Action Plan, stellt ein gemeinsames Vorgehen in der EU zur Prävention und Aufdeckung von Marktmanipulation dar.

MACOC:MMM analysiert Handelsaktivitäten und identifiziert Anhaltspunkte für die gezielte Beeinflussung des Marktes. Die Prüfung erfolgt regelbasiert und deckt bisher die folgenden Szenarien ab:

- Price jumps with significant positions
- Reference price manipulation
- Phantom orders
- Wash trades
- Marking the close
- Pre arranged trades
- High volumes with price jumps
- Price jumps with reversed price jump
- Painting the tape
- Naked short sales
- Concealing Ownership

Durch die gemeinsame technische Plattform der MACOC:Suite ist der einfache Informationsaustausch mit den anderen MACOC Modulen sichergestellt. Basis für alle Module bildet die Datenbank des Regulatory Business Warehouses (Reg.BW), in der alle Daten nachvollziehbar und revisionssicher historisiert werden.
