Der Aufsichtsrat der B. Braun Melsungen AG hat in seiner Sitzung am 11. Juli 2017 Herrn Dr. Joachim Schulz als Ordentliches Mitglied in den Vorstand der B. Braun Melsungen AG gewählt. Er wird ab dem 1. August die Sparte Aesculap im Vorstand verantworten.

Dr. Schulz (61), seit April diesen Jahres Vorstandsvorsitzender der Aesculap AG, studierte an der RWTH Aachen Maschinenbau und Luftfahrt. Nach seiner Promotion 1988 kam er zu Aesculap nach Tuttlingen. Es folgte ein mehrjähriger Aufenthalt bei der englischen B. Braun-Tochter in Sheffield, UK, als Leiter der dortigen Produktionsstätten. Im März 2008 wurde er zum Mitglied des Vorstands der Aesculap AG bestellt, verantwortlich für die Bereiche Produktion, Strategischer Einkauf & Supply Chain Management sowie Logistik. Dr. Schulz ist verheiratet und hat fünf Kinder.
