Das neue HealthCare Journal thematisiert die Sicherheit im Umgang mit multiresistenten Erregern und deren Bekämpfung im ambulanten Sektor

Das Journal richtet sein Augenmerk auf die Prävention von MRSA sowie anderen zunehmend an Relevanz gewinnenden multiresistenten Erregern in medizinischen Bereichen, die bei der Diskussion um Maßnahmen zur Bekämpfung bisher nicht im Fokus standen - wie der Orthopädie, Rehabilitation oder häuslichen Pflege. Außerdem werden bundesweit einzigartige Projekte wie die MRSA-Ambulanz in Münster vorgestellt und über eine aktuelle Studie zu MRSA in der Landwirtschaft berichtet. Ein Interview mit Professor Markus Dettenkofer, kommissarischer Leiter des Instituts für Umweltmedizin und Krankenkenhaushygiene des Universitätsklinikums in Freiburg, zeigt, wie der Infektionsschutz der Zukunft aussehen sollte.
