Die B. Braun Melsungen AG hat mit Intrafix Primeline UV-protect und Intrafix SafeSet UV-protect das Sortiment seiner UV-protect-Produktpalette erweitert. Die Produkte decken das relevante Wellenlängenspektrum bis 520 nm ab, wodurch die Verwendung von Intrafix Primeline UV-protect bzw. Intrafix SafeSet UV-protect für alle lichtgeschützt zu applizierenden Arzneimittel möglich ist.

Die beiden orange-transparenten Infusionsleitungen verfügen über einen umfassenden Lichtschutz im Bereich des Schlauches und der Tropfkammer und bieten aufgrund der orange-transparenten Gestaltung eine gute Sichtkontrolle. Intrafix Safe Set UV verfügt darüber hinaus noch über die Sicherheitsmechanismen AirStop und PrimeStop, die ein Eindringen von Luft in den Infusionsschlauch und den Verlust der Infusionslösung beim Entlüften der Leitung verhindern.
