AST International announces the appointment of an advisory board

Dr. Thomas Wuensche and Sebastian Bihari assuming advisory board positions to support AST's ambitious growth

Effective from 02 November 2020, AST (Advanced Sensor Technologies) International (the “Company”), a portfolio company of Blantyre Capital Limited (“Blantyre”), has appointed an advisory board to support the growth strategy of the Company led by its CEO and Managing Director Johannes Prosteder. The advisory board members will be Dr. Thomas Wuensche, Sebastian Bihari and Johann Scheid.

Dr. Thomas Wuensche has been working in the automotive industry for over 25 years, serving as CEO for Chassis Brakes International up to 2020 and being now an Executive Advisor to Hitachi Automotive Systems. Prior to that, he was Managing Director and CEO of Benteler Deutschland GmbH and Benteler Automobiltechnik GmbH and before that, he was CEO of Exhaust Technology at Esslingen’s automotive supplier Eberspaecher. Dr. Thomas Wuensche started his career with Muhr und Bender in Germany after having obtained a diploma of engineering at the University of Aachen. He holds a PhD in engineering from the Montan University of Leoben, Austria.

Sebastian Bihari is Managing Partner and co-founder of Vektor Partners, an international venture capital firm in the disruption of the mobility sector. Prior to that, he was Managing Director and Head of Automotive Investment Banking EMEA at BNP Paribas. Previously, he worked in M&A with Moelis & Company and Greenhill & Co. Sebastian Bihari graduated in International Economics and Business at University of Innsbruck and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
